Special Appearance and NYFW-2017!

Good afternoon my butterflies!! It brings me great pleasure that I have so much to update you on, so this post will be different than the others! Today I will cover the last two weeks of my life and it has been quite the adventure!

On 2/4 I was the celebrity guest speaker at a wonderful event called Diva Social. Diva Social is a special once a month event in New Haven, CT that is a night where the Trans-gender and Gender-Queer community can be assured to feel safe and come together. Being my very first public appearance after coming out gender non-conforming, it was a very special night for me so I prepared quite the speech. I began my night getting to know most of the girls around the bar, listening to their inspiring stories and feeling their struggles and fears. Giving me more of an understanding that even through my own journey other people are going through their own but we all share the same smiles and the same tears, I then became more confident in my upcoming speech. I got on stage to a full nightclub and spoke about community. How the LGBTQA community is not just one letter of the alphabet but its A through Z and we need to stay that way in support of each other, our similarities and differences. I pulled people in from the crowd to set a visual example of the LGBTQA and closed my speech letting my inspirational stubbornness to be who I am, gain applause of the entire building. After the success of a welcoming night at Diva Social it was time for me to start getting 100% ready for this current season of New York Fashion Week!

This Fashion Week was a tough one from the start. My preparation started from receiving some worrisome news that directly before the week starts my assistant Alicia would be having brain surgery to fix blood flow to her brain. Thankfully my previous interning assistant stepped forward offering his time to help make things easier with Alicia's absence. Things seemed to be going very well as I booked a full day a Style Fashion Week which this season was at the legendary Madison Square Gardens! Very shortly before the big day I learned we were getting a MASSIVE snow storm overnight. I instantly had to rush down to the city to a quickly booked hotel room in order to make a single show the next day. The morning was naturally me rushing to get ready because I woke up late as my guest Morgan Fey was beside me witnessing my frantic panic. Finally it was time to brave the long walk across the street to fashion week! As I was just getting in the door I got a call that my assistant replacement could not make it out due to the snow and thank god I had my friend Haley currently on a subway to join us and she was inspirationally motivated to step in and help out! The three of us went through security and walked into the magic together! We first did our walk on the red carpet where Morgan and I got some attention from paparazzi and we entered into the stage room to our first show Malan Breton! We were directed to our second row seats and I made sure my girls were comfortable as I saw Malan behind us chatting up a storm. I got up and walked over to say hello and was welcomed with a hug and a smile. We briefly spoke before he had to go back stage and finish up working his magic on his AMAZING line this year. In the process I caught a glimpse of the wonderful
Frankie Grande to whom I waved at as Malan and I were talking. As Malan walked backstage Frankie also greeted me with a hug and a smile, we spoke briefly took a quick and amazing signature duck face selfie and then it was time for the show to begin! The show began with 3 pairs of ballroom dancers one pair, a man and a woman, one with two men and the other two women. This instantly kicking off with an amazing message of equality and acceptance. As the ballroom dancers left the runway it was time for the show to begin! Within the first three outfits I was blown away completely saying to myself YES 20S IN THE 20S!! The entire line had a Downton Abby 1920s feel with a stylish modern twist to it that absolutely blew me away. Frankie of course rocked the runway and the show lead closer to its end as my jaw became close and closer to the floor. The very end of the show had all the models marching out on stage in a powerful form and then splitting down the middle of the runway allowing for Malan to walk down and greet the crowd. The ending of this show displaying strength and unity was the perfect ending to the perfect mind blowing fashion show. Now we all know I have been to many fashion shows and that I never miss Malan's show, so I know to expect an amazing performance, a moving and powerful message and a line full of flawless outfits. This year completely blew me away, this was without a doubt the most amazing fashion show, line of clothes and display I have ever seen and may ever see in my life! At the end of the show my girls and I walked up stairs to greet and congratulate Malan on the carpet. He once again greeted us with a smile and a hug and graciously thanked us for our honest applause on his amazing talent. Once things slowed down Malan and I played a bit with my SnapChat filters and parted ways where I continued my day of sitting front row for each and every show until rushing back home. Most of the other lines I saw that day were truly wonderful but couldn't compare to the pure perfection of Malan Breton and his Spring 2017 Collection.
Now my social butterflies for the daily dirt. Today's dirt I will openly admit isn't dirty at all. Out of all the fashion designers I have met, mingled with, and even worked with. I have never met a designer so kind, and gently humble as Malan Breton. and now Malan here is my message to you. Keep doing exactly what you are doing and being the exact person that you are. I have the utmost faith that you will continue to grow, inspire and expand becoming more than your dreams could ever dream. In your own words, wherever you go, shine, so keep on shining brighter and brighter and I very much so look forward to your line next season.
Stay Colorful

NYFW with Designer Malan Breton!

Good afternoon my social butterflies! It was just the best time of the season, New York Fashion Week! Time to travel into the city to view the latest trends in fashion, buy some looks right off the runway and take as many pictures and videos as humanly possible! I myself had a very handsome date who I will not give a name to just yet. I brought this beautiful man to a day full of fashion at Style Fashion Week NYFW. We were there for 7 shows including the amazing Malan Breton and Dexter Simmons whom you will be seeing on the current season of Project Runway!
Dexter revealing his risky, edgy and unique style worked the runway with looks that anyone could adore! Malan the opening show for the day began his incredible show with the fabulous Frankie Grande wearing an outfit that had a fashionable south western feel to it. Closing the show Malan had the one and only Nene Leakes walking the runway in a $1,000,000 dress fit for royalty! as the entire room lights up in applause the made her way down and stood for pictures with Malan closing one of the most eventful shows I have seen in 12 seasons of NYFW. Always stay fashionable and never forget to stay colorful my butterflies.

Always Have A View and Really Gaga?

Hello my social butterflies! No matter where you go and what you are doing, you must be sure to always be enjoying your surroundings and what better way to do that than enjoying a fantastic view! I just spent the past week in the beautiful Cabo, Mexico at the Grand Fiesta Americana and I must say they have one of the most wonderful Sky Bars I have ever seen! Also!! For this weeks dish and dirt I hear that the amazing Lady Gaga has made the tragic mistake of collaborating with Azealia Banks!!! If you haven't been up to date with Banks, she has been viciously attacking pillared members of the LGBT community and even brought it so far that she was banned from twitter!!! Come on mother monster what are you doing with this beast????? I personally have no room for homophobes who act on their ignorance! I really don't see the positive impact in this my butterflies...stay colorful.

Lets Travel!

Good afternoon my social butterflies! These past few weeks have been full of traveling! From Winston-Salem North Carolina to Virginia Beach spending time on the boardwalk with my fabulous cousin who is on the Naval base (thank you for your service), Back up to NYC to join the amazing Amber Rose in celebration of her new talk show and then up to sunny Plattsburgh NY to relax and get some much needed beauty sleep! Being a socialite traveling is something you need to get used to and I am far from done this year ;). Also as I have promised you all a little dirt on the elite...... the world famous Amber Rose not only had her party in Queens NY under a subway bridge....but she somehow manages to show up 5 hours late! Sometimes being a celebrity can make you busy but here is the real question for her. How long until it goes from fashionably late to just plain rude Amber and how much do you care about your supporters.....its not like I showed up with some important people like I always do. I guess being the baddest bitch has its cost my butterflies.....Stay colorful.
